Logan is a purebred AKC male German Shepherd. He comes from German Working lines which makes him high energy with a lot of ball and play drive. Logan has been with the same family since he was 6 weeks and was most bonded with the male family member who was retired and home with him quite a bit. Unfortunately his male family member passed away and the wife still works full time and is gone all day. This has left Logan with a lot of pent up energy for play that she simply isn't able to keep up with at 62 years old anymore. Logan needs an experienced German Shepherd breed home with an owner who is active and wants a companion to do activities with and play. This dog would love to have a job to do and would benefit from obedience training or any type of agility or working dog type activities. He will play fetch with you for hours. Logan has been in a household with 2 other male dogs and has done fine but we also think he would be happy being the center of attention too. Logan has also been around kids but no children under the age of 12. We will only adopt him to a home with experience with this breed. A retired male veteran who would be interested in doing training activities with him we feel would be his dream partner.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats

If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please contact us or complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
