Chip came to us in bad condition. His nose was really stopped up and he suffered from an upper respiratory and residual effects from chronic illnesses. Chip had a bad flea allergy and had chewed off most his hair. He was super thin. Chip is doing much better now. He is an absolute blast and is always playing and acting like a clown. He is looking for an inside home to love him unconditionally. Chip requires no major treatments from here on out. He just needs his basic flea preventative and maybe an occasional allergy medicine but nothing expensive. We can help him with some continued respiratory treatments for a bit if he needs them, but finding his own family with full time inside care, is going to make a huge difference for him. Chip desires a human so much that it affects his health.

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
