Rin came to us in April 2021 as an owner surrender. Rin already had one owner pass away and one owner give her up, none of which is Rin’s fault. So we are being extra picky that Rin finds her forever home this time. She is a lap pet. She will likely sleep with you and even give you love bites if you are not giving her enough attention. She has a semi Siamese personality and really doesn’t want a lot of cats in her home. She is passive and will end up staying off to herself when stressed and we don’t want that for her. Rin has been combo tested negative, spayed, microchipped and began her vaccines. We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better. We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
