Many of the homes we help have an abundance of cats. Garfield’s home was no exception. We are trying to help more than 30 be spayed/neutered and find wonderful homes. The majority are orange and have been loved, but it is just overwhelming. Garfield was received and altered March 19, 2020 and was already playing and posing that afternoon. He was using the litter box and eating well. He had no problem with the other cats. Seemed to play independently. We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.
