Trixie came to us because some horrible person went thru a McDonald's drive thru 10-14-2020 and set her out to fend for herself. Luckily one of our foster moms was able to snatch her up to safety. We estimate her birthdate to be around the end of August or beginning of September. Trixie is a lovable, beautiful kitty that has been waiting a while for her forever family to find her. She is still a baby that loves to play, hang out on the cat trees, or look for adventures with her kitty friends. Trixie has been raised at our baby foster home, but really hasn't ever met a stranger human or kitty. Her personality is just super outgoing and ready for about any type of family. Trixie is looking for an inside only home with lots of love and attention. We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better. We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
