Peter Parker is another one of our superhero kittens. He is able to leap in all directions, climb up and land on your shoulder for kisses, and be anywhere he needs to be to get your attention. He gets along well with all the other kitties, but definitely requires a home that is all hands on and all about him. He would make a great kitty for older children. Peter has an instant purr on contact, wants to be in your face for kisses, and absolutely loves to play, nap, and eat around the clock. Once again, he isn't the kitten for the family that busy family that doesn't have time for their pets, so please don't apply to adopt now and then after his kitten days say he needs a new home because you don't have the time for him. :-( At present time, Peter is pretty okay with a little cat friendly dog, and was in a foster home with two larger dogs, but he is definitely leary of the canine breed. His potential adopter needs to understand it will be up to Peter to see if he accepts the family's pooch if they have one.

Peter has been neutered and received his vaccines and is ready to find that purrfect forever home. Spider Cat was originally an orphan and just seems to have a strong will to thrive and enjoy life!!!! We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better. We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
