Adele has developed into a super sweet and really lovable young feline. She was originally found on June 13, 2020 at a home that had been vacant since June 2nd. Her mom was amazing to keep the litter of 7 alive all that time with limited resources. She has decided that she loves being held and babied.

We have had this rockstar family in foster and they are doing great. Even though Adele has been acclimated to going outdoors and could be out part time, but like all our Kentucky Kitty Cats, she needs inside access until they are vetted, and then need inside access for safety and weather. Full time outdoor life is NOT a safe life.

Adele received her spay and rabies vaccine on July 31, 2020 and is ready to find her forever home. Please complete an application on our webpage if you would like to meet Adele, Alice Cooper, Atlanta, Kiss, Springfield, Usher, Zepplin, or Momma Stevie @ www.kykittycats.com

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
