"Fat Cat" owner died a couple years back, and she was able to find a king person to take her in to love. Unfortunately, the lady's dogs and most her cats given the little "Fat Cat a hard time. Plus the family is about to move, so this would be a good time to transition this girl to a fantastic forever home.

She would love to get a home that has no dogs and few to no cats. She is super sweet, very lovable, absolutely beautiful, spayed, and up to date on shots.

"Fat Cat" is currently staying locked in one room for her safety. This is not a good thing for a 7 year old cat, as they can become very depressed. Please help us share this affectionate gal and find her a home where she can be someone's best friend and cherished family member.

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
