Romeo was found at a park following a younger cat named Juliet. We don’t feel they came from the same family, but Romeo was definitely trying to win her over. Romeo has been neutered and received his rabies vaccine. He is a gorgeous Russian Blue colored love bug to some extent, but then he loves too rough. He does not need to go to a home with children. Romeo needs to go to a home with an experienced cat owner that understands this type of behavior. He is only being friendly, but he is being too friendly at times. 

He definitely has enjoyed being inside. He is at our Muhlenberg house which doesn’t have outside access, so we are unsure if he would want to be back outside any. He seems content inside. We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area. 

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.
