Skittles has now been with us right at a month. She has been spayed, combo tested negative, vaccinated, and is settling in well. Skittles came to us because her owners are not able to stay in their home any longer and couldn't take her with them where they moved. She has been with a child in the past, but we feel she would do best with older kids or adults because she is packed full of tortie personality. Skittle has not been with any other animals before our rescue, but has many furbabies near her in foster. She is not a fan of the dominate ones. We feel she would do best as an only pet, or in a home with 1-2 calm pets. She does not start a fight with the other cats, but she will hide for days if one comes after her. She is only about 6-7 months old, and very much wanting her human to pay her lots of attention. She should adjust with proper transitioning and the right new fur siblings, but it would be fantastic if she found a home wanting only one cat. so that she can be the center of attention. She’s just gorgeous and full of life and a joy to be around.

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.
