About Atticus

  • Status: Available for Adoption (adoption info)
  • Species: Cat
  • Rescue ID: U2026008
  • General Color: White
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes
At first glance, Atticus may appear to be the “easy” one —but he has his own challenges. Atticus is deaf, and because of that, he has to have a special home. He will need a calm home that understands that things can't come at him quickly. He will startle so easy, and for him to feel comfortable, he needs to feel safe. His new human needs to be willing to learn how to communicate with him. In return, Atticus promises to make it more than worth your while—he has so much love to give.
We believe the boys are around 4–6 years old. What matters most is that this next home is their last home. Atticus came in with Boo and the boys have already endured far too many transitions, and we are committed to finding only serious, well-equipped humans who understand the responsibility of lifelong care and will never let them down again.
But we also know the right people are out there, and we truly need your help to find them.
Please share. Please network.
Help us give Atticus the future he deserve. ❤️

More about Atticus

Good with Cats

If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024

If you don't see pictures on Petfinder, please go to our website to view at www.kykittycats.com and we always have a waiting list that hasn't been posted yet.

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.

We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. It typically it cost us $60-80 to fully vet a feline and $80-120 to vet a canine depending on size and health conditions and sex.

Please visit and like our social media pages...  https://www.facebook.com/kykitties

and now we are on TIKTOK!

Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats

All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent. If you are interested in sponsoring an animal, just list their name in the comments.
